The Ocean Course at Rio Mar Country Club is the elder of the two courses on the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort property which is situated on over a mile of palm tree-covered beach and plays slightly shorter than the River Course. Nestled within towering mountains, the Ocean Course has elevated greens that offer spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. The classic but challenging layout has made the course one of the most popular on the island. Strategically placed bunkers and water hazards come into play throughout.
The signature hole is the 16th, which is a seaside par-3 that is considered one of the best holes in the Caribbean for both its challenge and beautiful views. Award-winning golf course designers Tom and George Fazio created the Ocean Course to be equally gorgeous and challenging, with Sand Iguanas and seaside vistas at every tee.
